Oh yeah, a new one for 2026!!! To say we were excited when Falcon Trails asked if we would want to organize a race around the lake on the STUNNING new east end connector trail (official name to be released) would be a MASSIVE understatement. This trail is simply amazing, possibly the best in Manitoba.
While there will be a number of "fest" related announcement leading to the event, this is what we have nailed down:
The event will take place Sept. 26-27 and hosted at Falcon Trail Resort in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Registration will open January 31 at 0800, so mark your calendar! They hype has been real on this one, so you don't want to miss out.
The event can be run as a multi-day stage race as either the FULL FLIGHT with a 16km up and down course Saturday and the Loop the Lake Marathon Sunday, or as the HALF FLIGHT, a 8km up and down course Saturday with The Better Half 28km race on Sunday. Individual events can also be signed up for if you prefer to race one day instead.
This weekend is all about the VIBES and amazing COMMUNITY that we call trail running.

Suffer on Centennial 2026 is planned for May 23, with race registration opening Jan.1/26 at 0800. Grab yours on Ultrasignup.
Please note we cannot guarantee an event shirt if you sign up after Feb. 28!
Suffer on Centennial is the longest point to point trail race on the central Canadian Prairies with a 100k and 100k relay distance for teams up to 6!
The route will take you from Rennie with the first half covering a very burly 50km on rugged Canadian Shield with some exceptionally technical terrain. The route will then continue on the flowy, runnable Trans Canada Trail through West Hawk, and NEW for 2026, the route will include the east and connector trail taking you on one of the best trails Manitoba has to offer! Both the 100k and 50k will include the new section of trail.
This adventure will give you a little of everything the Whiteshell has to offer, from technical rocky and rooty single-track, granite slabs, boggy boreal forest, and super flowy runnable terrain with less than 1km of roads!
We will also have a point to point 50km, 2 loop 25km and 8km, all ending at Falcon Trails Resort. Please see below for details!

In 2025 we had our biggest event yet with over 450 people signed up to take on the beautiful Brandon Hills! When registration opens for this one, I suggest you sign up fast as the event has sold out the last 4 years.
Race the North Face is hosted in the hillier than heck Brandon Hills, an unexpected gem of single-track on the prairies. There is a 750m kids run, 10km, 25km and 50km Ultra with 1200m of leg-thrashing vertical gain on >90% single-track! Don't forget to enjoy the breath-taking views from The Spine...

Your support has now allowed us to donate $12 000 to the Westman Trails Association, in order to keep the trails we love in top form.
Thanks again to all of our stellar volunteers and sponsors, we cannot put a big event like this on without your help!
See you in September,
Kristian + Nicole
